Business Development Associate

About the role

As a Business Development Associate at Intelligrow, you will help financial institutions accelerate their digital transformation using intelligrow CBS and LMS solutions. You will identify new business opportunities, engage with prospects across global markets, qualify leads, and support the sales process from initial outreach to project discussions. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about fintech, consultative selling, and building long-term client relationships.

What you will do

  • Identify and engage prospective clients including NBFCs, MFIs, SACCOs, Credit Unions, and Banks
  • Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email campaigns, referrals, and outbound outreach
  • Schedule discovery meetings and product demonstrations with prospects
  • Understand client business requirements and coordinate with technical teams
  • Maintain and update CRM records, sales pipelines, and opportunity tracking
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial documents
  • Follow up with prospects and nurture relationships throughout the sales cycle
  • Research market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities in digital banking and lending
  • Represent Intelligrow during webinars, industry events, and online engagements

What we're looking for

  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, inside sales, or client acquisition
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation abilities
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, and email outreach tools
  • Ability to understand business requirements and communicate value propositions
  • Self-motivated, organized, and target-oriented
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, IT, or related field
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment

Nice to have

  • Experience selling SaaS, fintech, banking, or lending solutions
  • Understanding of Mifos, Apache Fineract, Core Banking Systems, LOS, or LMS platforms
  • Experience working with international clients
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools
  • Knowledge of digital lending, microfinance, or financial inclusion ecosystems
